Richard Lauber, Jr is president of J & E Duff, Inc. A third-generation mason contractor, established in 1936 and based in West Chicago, J & E Duff is one of the larger mason contractors in the Chicago area and performs new construction of many types including multi-residential, healthcare, retail, office, educational and other municipal buildings. Having worked as a laborer during the summers throughout high school and college, Lauber received both a BA and PhD in psychology and worked in the mental health field for 15 years before returning toJ & E Duff in 2002.
